What would be the point of Toronto acquiring Zadina for the 4th line? Maybe if Toronto is playing Detroit in round 1, he can get a couple of revenge goals but that's probably just about it.

You also want to move Minten who will probably be their future 2C or 3C, and two 1st for Horvat as a rental as if Toronto has a deep prospect pool. There's pressure to win now, but there will also be pressure to win next year, and if they win now or next year, there's still going to be the expectation for them to compete each year. The only way they can manage to potentially become more competitive is if Matthews walks, and they by chance sign to top 6 F that can actually replace him (slim chance of even getting a 1C in FA, and when they do hit, they don't come cheap).
