What if instead of adding a C like CAR needs you trade one instead? And what if FL trades two top 6 FWDs for picks? We have an early exit for CAR and FL missing the playoffs.

Nick Foligno was one of the better forwards available at the deadline. There was a lot of competition for him. Staal isn't that.

If this is the What If…they are exactly the same. How about we just stay where we are and play better. Shocking that when players are in front of the net - we score. Crazy right?

Man as much as you tear up people for their Carolina rosters, we need you to flog yourself for this one. Need a lot hyperbole about how much our picks are worth and zero chance we do these trades.

Highly doubt Seattle moves Soucy especially with retention. They're in the playoff hunt this year and he's a good 3rd pair D that plays PK for them on a cheap deal.
