Zero chance of a lot of those things happening in the Winnipeg trade.

    1) no chance Winnipeg adds a 2nd.

    2) no chancethe Jets take Anderson as an uncompensated cap dump, or even consider him with compensation.

    3) no chance Winnipeg waits until 24 for the 1st.

    4) no chance Winnipeg accepts less than Chiarot got as a rental for a full year of Dubois.

    5) no chance Dubois signs a long term below market value contract.

No thanks from the Canucks. Dvorak is an overpaid 3C, the 2nd will be late and not even this draft, and no need for another LHD

I disagree. Id take this as the Canucks. We need a 3C regardless of what happens with Horvat. Right now we have Dries playing 3C. Dvorak played heavy matchup minutes in Arizona (not sure if he still does) and he's really good on faceoffs. I like Boeser but I think it's time we move on to get more speed into our lineup. This also opens 2mil in capspace for Van and replenishes the 2nd we traded in the Dickinson deal.

I’d be fine moving Boeser, but would want a cheaper option than Dvorak. Feel like there’s better options than him at his cap hit

I'm not sure there's much better available. Only other cheaper C I can think of that could be available right now is Mittelstadt. He comes with more question marks than Dvorak but higher upside.

It should be obvious that the Ducks aren't trade pick 33-35 in the 2023 draft for Joel Edmundson.

Florida won the presidents trophy and Anaheim sits dead last in the standings. You can't get any more different than that. Some team might give you a 2nd for Edmundson but it sure won't be the Ducks.
