That looks about right for Zadina.

At this point, Detroit probably accepts. I just think Zadina needs a change of scenery at this stage.

Kane's value will completely depend on how many teams he is willing to go to. If it is just the Rangers, than the return will be much less. If there are 5 or more teams, we have a bidding war.

Either way, I don't see the rangers trading that package for Kane. Just too much to give up for any rental when the team doesn't look like a real contender.

Will happily take the 2nd for Kravtsov though.

1) NYR fans are gonna lose their **** on here. They repeatedly say Othmann is out of bounds.
2) I think Domi and AA trades are overvalued. A 3rd rounder for each is probably right.
3) I don't think Toews gets you a 1st. Colorado also only had 2 picks last year and they were DEEEEEEP in the draft. They may value their 1st more than Toews. I'd guess you'd see a NHL contract + 2nd come back to Chicago.

What about if Kane agrees to a contract? lets say 3yr 8M as conditions of the trade. Would you value it differently?

No shot the isles give up a 2nd and 3rd. Maybe a 5th.

On #4, it’s a 2025 1st. So a bit better than the normal 2023 proposals.

I’m interested to see how much Kane/Toews steer their destination. They both have full NMCs and large enough cap hits where the market may be smaller than we expect.

i like AA(speed kills in the playoffs) so I'd go up to a 3rd, but I want full retention coming back, too. But yeah, a 2/3 combo for Athanasiou at full freight is a pricey ask.

Not for me, he's bounced around with different teams. Look at the last 3 years. Doesn't produce enough.....Plus where does he play? A 5th on a flyer for him is all I'd give.

Detroit accepts. I had Zadina traded to Chicago for a 3rd in my CFACGM yesterday.

At this point I rather move Laffy, and remove the picks.

COL 16-17 worst team in the league best in the league in face offs. COL 21-22 Cup Champions 6th worst in the league in face offs. Until FO are broken down by situation FO win % means nothing and people making ACGM’s based off it are silly.

There’s no way the Rangers should contemplate a Kane trade. They don’t even look like they’re gonna be able to make the playoffs let alone contend. That first will probably be valuable. And Othmann isn’t for sale with where Kakko and Laf are. Rangers and Kane aren’t a fit and no interest in extending him into his late 30’s for big money. I recommend sending him elsewhere.

Seems like a lot for Athanasiou. I'd rather give be the team that gives the 2nd and 6th for Domi at 50%.

I also hope the Islanders can beat out that price for Kane.
