Well that makes no sense. Even the a good second round pick, won't be NHL ready for least three years. The Leafs haven't given up on Robertson and next summer, LWers Bunting, Kerfoot and Engvall are all UFAs.

Well you know Toronto fans, if players don't have Matthew or Marner standards they are all expendable. Leafs have three upcoming UFAs at LW this summer. Leafs aren't giving up on Robertson. I kinda think Robertson see some up and down time with the Leafs and Marlies this season. Leafs haven't been had injuries to their forwards so far this seasons hence so little ice time for the "spares"
But Robertson when has has played has been fine.

I get what you are saying but Robertson has that unique skill set a player who loves the dirty areas but has a scoring touch similar to Bertuzzi. There is a reason Bertuzzi is on more ACGMs than any other Detroit player it's that skill that is in high demand. A late 1st or an early 2nd could get you a good player ready to play in about 3 to 4 years. I'd keep Robertson but that is just my opinion.
