Do you really think we're getting Mantha for that?? (And I'm not even including the retention)

Dhaliwal is the most reliable member of the media in Vancouver. He's well connected within the Canucks and around the entire league. He believes that after Myers' signing bonus is paid he could be a pretty good trade option for a lot of team, possibly with some retention. If we're retaining 2M on Myers we can probably get a better return in the offseason.

The caps aren’t making that trade. Kerfoot is hardly even worth his cap hit to begin with. You want mantha with retention for a second and a third? We aren’t moving him for that price, let alone adding a pick and retention.

Leafs really don't need Mantha and especially his cap next year.
That Vancouver trade. Myers isn't as good as Holl, Ain't no way the Leafs want Myers at 4m this year and next. And give up Engvall too. Plus the cap really doesn't work when Reilly returns.

If Myers was paid the same as Holl.. I would take Myers- but he isnt worth much more. Canucks would jump at that deal. While they could wait till his off season bonus is paid- and then his real salary is $1mil- that might be tempting to Arizona...but thats about it. That might be a long shot, not to mention for the rest of this season, and his bonus... Myers is going to make 9.5 million.... Im thinking the owners would rather move him now

No, Kerfoot is definitely not worth his cap hit and is the most overrated leaf by a mile. Engvall is easily 2nd.

Holl is better than Myers & makes 1 mil less even with 50% retention on Tyler, Leafs tell this trade to go **** itself
