St. Louis doesnt need Duchene. thats not enough of a return for Granlund. The preds also have no need for Sandin I dont think. They already have 3 top 2LHD

Blues decline. Rather have Schenn at 6.5 than Duchene at 8 mil

Terrible trade for the Leafs, Sandin is worth a lot more than Granlund, let alone adding Kampf and a high pick.

My plan was to deal Ekholm to another team as we can’t continue to carry 3 6 mil plus LD contracts. Sandin would be the bottom pair replacement

I meant keep on dreaming with the fact that they think Sandin is worth more than Granlund.

To TOR, he is. Why are you moving Granlund?

So you want a cap strapped team who needs cheap depth to send you cheap depth because you'll be a cap strapped team.

TOR says no.

I don't see any of these deals happening. AZ would want more back for their best player. These also feel like moves just for the sake of changing something. I personally don't look at this lineup and feel any different than I do looking at the current one.

Sandin has been really good since our top 3 defensemen have all been out. He is young, cheap, and controllable for this year and next (being an RFA at the end of the contract). I'm not trading him for someone making 3x the amount of money with 9 even strength points and is on the decline. Sandin is 8 years younger with 9 less points as a defenseman! Averaging 2 less minutes a night

Leafs don't touch that at all.
Sandin is a promising top 4 LHD and most certainly won't be getting any good playing time behind Josi, Ekholm, McDonagh.
Kampf is on such a great deal. Great on PK and is a depth player that fits the Leafs needs very well.
