with this signing, this means the top three draft picks from 2012 have played for the avalanche organization, ironic considering that the avs didn't have their first round pick that year!

No money on the market to trade for actually helpfull players. This smells desperation. I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole. Cost more goals than he can help produce.

I don’t understand why they want him – he’s had more than enough chances to try to get his game back – but I can’t call it a bad signing because it’s zero risk. Since it’s a 2-way contract, even if he ends up in the AHL it probably wouldn’t be a bad outcome because he should help them sell some tickets there.

Why did so many people vote no? He's like the 17th forward on the team who is only seeing nhl time because of injuries.
