Good trade for Boston right now especially with the retention but could be a problem in the near future... They're probably going to need Lysell and those picks once Bergeron and Krejki (among others) are gone. In Boston's case being at the top of the standings and depending on when those two retire or decline hard their 2024 pick could easily be more valuable than their 2023 pick.

Mind you for Crouse and Chychrun with 30% retained on each a lot of teams would be interested. Boston probably gets outbid by several teams.

agreed on the future, but I think BOS would throw the next 10 years away for another Cup

Close on that one. Makes sense on one hand, but on the other, mcavoy is probably the best bruin player since ray bourque. Would hate to waste his prime.
