If they were selling the farm to go all in on the season, I think Meier would be a much better target than Bertuzzi, O'Reilly or Toews would be good, and instead of Jensen probably go for Klingberg and Zub (if available). I think Knies counts as the farm as well, so ship him off!!!.

I know the 2023 draft is supposed to be really good but wouldn't it be kinda smart and try to get a 2024 1st instead? Leafs are still a really good team (at least in the regular season lol). But next season? There is even more competition within the division and Leafs have big Cap problems.

When Panthers traded their 2023 pick everybody said that "its not a big deal, the Panthers are going to be really good next season as well" . I think Panthers fans are little bit worried now lol.

The 2023 draft is supposed to be the deepest one in years. 2024 we should be a playoff team. Ready to come out of the rebuild. Robertson doesn't move the needle for me.

Detroit already has young players better than him. Soderblom, Berggren, Rasmussen, Veleno, Mazur and Kasper. Where would Robertson fit? Nowhere.

The Leafs if anything have the regular season figured out. They'll still be drafting in the 27-32 range next season.
