Looks like a fair trade, but the Leafs have lots of LHD, and three upcoming UFA LWers. So I kinda think the Leafs say no.

Winnipeg says no. NHL defenseman are far harder to find than tiny, left shot wingers.

Unless Robertson required to help land impact incoming player (2W or 3C) at TDL, I’d rather keep him. His pedigree is solid (> gpg in final year of juniors which is insane, ppg in ahl); his development was hampered by injury but he’s still only 21. Lots of prospects take a few years to come good & I think he still has high ceiling - leafs and leaf fans just need to be patient

Who is biased? I'm against the trade, would rather keep Robertson. We're actually in agreeance that this trade doesn't happen.

It's just your justification that's hilarious. It's cool, you can keep your massive "NHL ready" d-man.
