He is soooo good. Love his fights. Seems like he just postponed the End of Enforcers for a little bit.

If you were to trade him, what player (from any team) would you ask in return?

I'm just curious to see his value.

weird that he was UDFA and not picked in the 1st round then?

i get that the dude is a fan favorite because of his style of play, but pump the brakes before you put his number in the rafters. he had one good season as an overage in the OHL, and had a couple good games in bottom pair minutes since coming up. i agree that there's really no need to move him at this point without an overpay, but this isn't an egregious offer for a guy that you picked off the street last spring.

I am not a fan of Xhekaj personally, but he didnt play because of Covid so this is a reason why he didnt got drafted

He's a rookie D playing his first ever pro season and he has 3 goals in less than 20 games played, that's a 1st round type of prospect in every book... oh and he's also 6'4 240lb

Didn't realize that! Thanks for the heads-up - he must've spent the year growing though, because his age-18 and age-20 seasons in the OHL were night and day.

Again, I think he's a very solid player with a decent future. But acting like he's untouchable is just silly to me - there's just a good a shot that these are the best 20 NHL games he'll ever have versus him becoming a 20 minute top 4 guy. This deal might not be it, but if some team wants to overpay you on that 20 game sample size, I think you gotta think reallllll hard about taking it.

ah yes, every one knows that no rookie D has ever scored 3 whole goals in his first 20 games while being a large human being. Automatically makes him worth a 1st rounder, I forgot that 20 games of sheltered minutes is the perfect amount of time to judge a player's value on.

I only said he's a 15-20 pick type of prospect, this his realistically where he should've been drafted looking back, and that's what you usually end up with drafting in that range
