I'm mesmerized when fans think AHLer Timmins (partly due to injury) is in the top 6 with the Leafs. So many fans think any RHD is an improvement on what they have now (Fabbro)
Holl, Liljegren and Holloway are doing just fine. Brodie and Benn will be returning soon. What's the freaking panic?

No panic but Leafs need to add another 5-7th dman, preferably right handed for the playoff run

It's not even a media narrative anymore. It's just nonsense trolls on here believe is true. It's not at all surprising that people believe anything they see on twitter these days, just a bunch of labrats wanting to find other people who agree with them.

Believe what you'd like but Hollowell, Mete, and Timmins wouldn't be able to play in a deep playoff run. They've done well filling in but players get way more exposed in a 7 game series, it'd be much tougher to shelter a 13 minute a night dman who is 5'9 in the playoffs against any real contender

Let's see: LHD, Reilly, Sandim Giordano....Right side, Brodie, Holl, Liljegren. Benn is the 7th, assuming Muzzin is out. RHD Hollowell is playing now with the Leafs that's 8 Dmen. You even have Timmins (very unlikely this season) as another RHD...that's 9. Fabbro makes 10. ????? Your math doesn't seem too good. How about Nashville, don't they want Fabbro for their playoff run?

Don't even know if the cap works. You've conveniently have Reilly on LTIR for the season.

Lmao at thinking height matters for sheltering a dman

Not my thread, was just commenting on your panic statement

Hollowell is a 8-9th dman, you need a few 6/7s for a deep run

If size matters why has Fabbro played better in his three NHL playoff appearances? Maybe it's talent that matters not necessarily size.

Comparing the most skilled guys in the league to an AHLer, well done, you won the argument

Three NHL playoff appearances is a huge sample size, if a 8th/9th dman who is not very talented or large is getting gameplanned against for multiple series, it will probably not end well for said player. If you don't have the common sense and eyes to understand that, not sure what to say
