I am higher on Byram than Dobson but I really wanted Dobson to fall a little farther in his draft.
Toews has better offensive ability but, I think Slavin is probably the top shut down dman in the league.
I am a homer but I would take the skill set of Toews over Slavin. What that next deal looks like could change things.

Well I would hope so at this point. Dobson has had the luxury of health. 184 games vs 59 lol. Byram is better at winning cups tho, we can say they're even.

No way you just said that, byram played 3rd pair minutes on a team that happened to win the cup.

Potential talentwise I think Byram has two levels more than Dobson but who knows if he'll ever not be injury prone. I think Slavvin has one level more talent than Toews (1. Makar/Hedman/Josi/Fox/healthy Karlsson. - 2. Byram/Dahlin/Carlson/Hamilton etc. -3. Slavvin/Seider/Pietrangelo/Heiskanen etc. - 4. Dobson/Toews/etc.) But if you're the Avs you have great team chemistry. Why mess with any of that? The big thing is getting a reasonable contract with Byram next year so (1) if he goes down with an injury he's not eating cap and (2) you have a chance to re-sign Toews the next year.
