Like the look of this team, provided Podz/Hoglander can take a step forward and Pearson can somewhat bounce back

First off Bo Horvat isn't taking anything less than either 8 x $8,000,000 or 8 x $8,500,000 no way is he taking 8 x $7,500,000.

And Buffalo and Anaheim aren't making the playoffs. So they're giving up assets for both Boeser and Myers.

Sabres only do this trade if we really like Boeser
That’s possible
But we also aren’t looking for a winger, so idk?
Maybe, i guess

Only if Adams trades Olofsson somewhere else, because have in team of Olofsson and Boeser, especially on the same line, is pointless. Perhaps I would even prefer Garland.

I really like the Nashville trade. It may also make sense if they commit to Carrier instead.

The problem with retaining on Myers to up the asking price is that Anaheim doesn't need, and may not want, the retention.

I don’t think we want to give up any assets for Myers

Anaheim won't recoup that 3rd from Myers. At best you'll get a 7th but more likely it's Futures or you have to send a 7th.

It doesn’t quite make sense. We only have to RHD and trading one of them without a replacement coming back would be terrible.

Also, I just don’t like the value in that trade going to NSH. You could add more to Garland

NSH is not trading their limited number of RD without at least one quality RD coming back in a return.

Please stop sending us forwards that will not help fill the hole you create on defense.

Less than no reason for the Ducks to pay anything for Myers, swap what side the third is on and ANA sends FCs

NSH isn’t trading a position of need for a position of surplus

Return is irrelevant on the Myers deal. I’d do it for FC

Rumour from Nick Kyperous is that Nash is looking to offload a Dman in order to strengthen their forward group

There are 0 Horvat comps that justify him getting 8 million you’re pulling that out of no where

I think it’s more likely they trade one of their LHD than Fabbro or Carrier. I don’t think those two are completely off the table, but I can’t see them weakening their right side like this in a deal for a marginal upgrade at forward. And Hynes doesn’t like undersized forwards— see Arvidsson ;(
