Why would the Pens downgrade from Carter to Evans when they are in the last year of their cup window? And why would the habs give up a young defensive specialist on a cheap contract and a 4th for a guy who will likely retire before they are a playoff contender

You can literaly get Dubois in Free Agency for free in 2 years. Why would you bother giving up a 1rst who will be top10 and could even be top5 in one of the strongest draft class in the last decades.
