Caps pass on all of these except maybe the Orlov deal, and even then I'd think they would want another significant piece to move him to a division rival.
In the EDM deal they give up a significantly better 4th rounder, their second best asset in Jensen, their third in Sheary, a very serviceable 3c and take back a cap dump for a 2nd, 3rd, and a 3rd liner. Boston is just paying for the Reilly cap dump and needs to add a 23 3rd for TVR. Johansson is moved for a 4th or 5th rather than a 4th liner who doesn't drive play and doesn't score. No point in moving Milano, who they have the space to re-sign and is way more valuable to the Caps than a 2025(!!!!) 4th.
