Again, not trying to make this overly about stats, but i don’t think we’re going to get anywhere arguing over particular goals and saves.

For goalies with 25+ starts last season he was:
34th in save percentage
41st in GAA
27th in EV SV%
44th in shorthanded SV%

That isn’t good.

Ok then whats your views on Vejmelka? Statistically he was brutal last year but he's actually quite a solid goalie

What makes him a solid goalie? You watching every arizona game? I think he’s mediocre from what I’ve seen.

"quite a solid goalie" is a big walk back from this:

Troll post? Hart could very easily be a Vezina finalist this year

I might not go as far as saying that Hart is terrible, and I do agree that the team in front of him does him no favors, but it's not like the team in front of Hart in 2019-20 was much different than it is now. Top 7 D on that team by total TOI were Provorov, Matt Niskanen, Travis Sanheim, Justin Braun, Philippe Myers, Shayne Gostisbehere, and Robert Hagg. 3 guys that are still there, 3 guys that aren't really viewed as "good" defensemen, and Matt Niskanen - so either we need to go back and seriously re-evaluate Niskanen's career, or not put 100% of the blame on the team in front of Hart.

You are only looking at defense. What a put Selke winner Couturier?

I also was talking about Vejmelka in that other post not Hart. I consider Hart to be fairly better than Vejmelka

I took you bringing Vejmelka into the conversation as a comp for Hart, my bad if I misinterpreted it (and fwiw I do think Vejmelka is a solid goalie on any team with a useful defense - his GAA always takes a hit because Arizona's giving up 35+ shots a night every time he plays)

I'm sure Couturier helped in 2019-20, but at the same time he was there for 80% of the games in 20-21 when Hart put up .877 SV% and a 3.67 GAA, so we kind of circle back to the same point - how much blame are you giving Couturier for that if you're giving credit to him for Hart's good numbers in 19-20?

He was bad in 20/21 im not arguing that. He was great in 19/20 and 21/22 though

Agree to disagree. I think he did make some lemonade out of lemons with last year's team, but I'd stop short of calling him "great" - to me, a great goalie should be able to still put up good numbers on a bad-to-mediocre team. Thinking like Jaro Halak on the 2009-10 Habs - .924, 2.40 GAA for a team giving top-4 minutes to a 34 year old Hal Gill & Josh Gorges and without any really strong defensive forwards on the team.

I guess the point I'm circling back to is I don't think Hart putting up the numbers he has on this (and last) year's Flyers team is something I'd consider Vezina worthy. Maybe worth of sympathy, but not of any sort of accolades when you've got Linus Ullmark, Ilya Sorokin, & Connor Hellebuyck putting up .930+ currently and some other really good stories like Ilya Samsonov and Alex Georgiev taking their games to the next level on a new team.
