I know many wingnuts are disgruntled with Kenny Holland. However, Howard's contract is exactly how it should be done IMO. NMC for the first two years, M-NTC for the next three and entirely fair game in the last year. If the Jets are on Howie's 10 team list to be traded to, that would be a good move for Chevy as well. And I know the local guy is coveted by Detroit fans. The Anaheim deal is also doable but I have trouble with the Vegas selection. Nice try tho! Not sure if the $4M in cap space traded at the TDL would be nearly enough to extend Trouba, Mantha, Larkin and Mrazek in addition to RST. Of course, Holland does have a way with Prongering guys...

Trouba is a young top line D and howard is a early 30's starter who already has health issues. You'll have to add at least cholowski, and probably 9th overall to start the convo with chevy

If it only took Howard with some retention and a 6th round pick to get Jacob Trouba, Trouba would already be home in Detroit playing that's an absurd trade for Winnipeg.

Nyquist NTC doesn't kick in until July 1st 2017, So he can still be dealt this month with no issues.

Far more then what we would be willing to give up? Larkin probably one of Nyquist/Mantha more or less they need LD which we can't help them or maybe a young stud Goalie Something around Mrazek++ more then likely.
