Nashville is an aging team struggling to stay a wild card contender. They aren't giving up young talent

That's a lot of future to give away by the Sabres for 1 player. I know are system is stacked but WOW!!

I mean if you honestly offered that id take it.

That said, Nashville is in its twilight. The core is aging out. I will say nashville is running into an issue were we have a glut of good wing prospects: Kemell, L'Heureux, Tomasino, Evangelista, Afanasyev, etc. We are weak on good d and c prospects (though if Parssinen continues to pan out we might be set at C unless its a really high end prospect). I could see us doing a prospect for prospect swap for an area more of need but more likely we try to fill those areas by selling nhl talent
