What's wrong with JJ? A second feels kinda low for a young player who put up great AHL numbers and is transitioning to the NHL relatively well if I am not mistaken.

EW! Trading JJ so that you can add a 5v5 black hole in Patrick Kane is one of the worst decisions I've seen on this site. Then you get Domi and Toews too?! I don't understand any of this when you'll have 5 first round pick forwards after this draft waiting in the wings blocked out for the next 2-4 years?!

The value is certainly fine for Peterka, I just don't see Detroit trading for anyone this off-season, unless it's a "hockey trade" roster in, roster out.

Value is far off. He is amazing so far. Quinn - Cozens - Peterka is playing great recently, with Cozens being 2nd NHL star of the week thanks to Peterka and Quinn finishing the passes

Even if we're lucky to make the playoffs, We won't be buyers. Just having a healthy roster is our trade deadline acquisition.

You're at least $2,000,000 under for Patrick Kane, And $3,000,000 under for Jonathan Toews.

Nothing is wrong with JJP, he has been playing very well, analytics are good, production is good. He likely isn’t for sale unless someone gives KA an offer he can’t refuse.

Kinda what I thought, I wasn't sure if he was brutal in his own end or some other thing that woulda lowered his value.

His defensive zone positioning could use a bit of work, but it’s not bad, doesn’t look like an out of place rookie out there. He’s good on the forecheck and transition, I really don’t get why this trade would be suggested by a Sabres fan.

Can't see Detroit giving up a 2nd for another winger and why trade Peterka he's on an ELC you have him for under $1M for 2 more years.

I'm with you, I don't know why Buffalo would want to move him in the first place...

And I'm pretty sure there are several Buffalo fans thinking the same thing.

It would be idiotic for the Wings to turn down this offer.

Not really. Detroit has a ton of wingers and when the Wings are healthy I'm not sure he cracks Detroit's top 9. Detroit has more pressing needs like a center since it doesn't look like Copp is going to work out as Detroit's 2C and then Detroit has yet another winger.

Bertuzzi - Larkin - Raymond
Vrana - Copp - Perron
Kubalik - Veleno - Berggern
Söderblom - Rasmussen - Sundqvist

Extra wingers
Fabbri, Erne, Suter and Zadina

I know we have so many wingers atm, but Peterka is one of the best young talent in the leaque. Only players i see sticking for long term are the young guys. Maybe somebody from the older guys as well but who knows.

Would a team like Devils, Kings, Ducks trade a 2nd for Marco Kasper even tho they have so many centers already? Heck yeah.

He is a good player and is having good season in 26 games playing on the 2nd line he has 6g 8a for 14p. After 26 games last season Raymond had 10g 12a 22p now Raymond was on the 1st line and played more minutes. Now Berggren has been playing in the bottom 6 and after 12 games he has 3g 5a 8p playing less minutes than Peterka and Raymond. I wouldn't take Peterka over either of them and Detroit still has Bertuzzi, Vrana, Kubalik and Perron.

There are far more good wingers than there are good centers and Detroit has been looking for a #2C pretty much since Zetterberg retired and they moved Larkin to center. So, trading a 2nd for another winger with a big hole in the middle would be rather foolish.
