If we’re giving all of Bourque, Harley, and a first I’d want Zona to take Faksa or Suter in stead of Dobby. Doubt either would go to Zona but might be better than getting bought out in the off season. DeBoer is still playing Suter on PP2, I don’t trust him to scratch Suter over Nils

I think it’s a bit of an overpay. But Harley + Faksa Dellandrea/Damiani and a 1st is a good start

My thought was that I imagine AZ is on both NMC lists. Dobby is the best salary dump they can do without a trade block. And scratching Suter is my call hahaha. It doesn't' change the cap figure at all.

I'm keeping Delly at this point. He is the future captain of this team. I would think AZ would be insistent on a top level prospect, and I think Stankoven is a no-deal caliber prospect. This team has a log jam at C the next 5 years so I thought Bourque was the best fit.

I worry about the “Bourque is the best fit” mindset. Just because Wyatt is amazing doesn’t mean Bourque isn’t. You’re selling low on him rn if you’re shopping him. He could struggle to adjust to pro hockey. He could be amazing. If you trade him for what he’s likely currently valued at and he’s amazing…. You look pretty silly. Delly and Stank are RWs in the NHL imo. Segs should prolly be a RW as well considering his lack of foot speed after his injuries. I don’t honestly think Dallas should be big game hunting rn. Grab a decent middle six forward to play with Segs and Marchie. Anybody is better than Faksa tbh. Faksa and Glendening don’t provide any offense. Guri doesn’t seem to be able to think the game fast enough for the NHL. Suter isn’t as bad as most Stars fans claim he is, but he’s good for some wtf plays every game. Hakanpaa hits and shows up on the score sheet sometimes but is a net negative player most of the time. There’s a lot of passengers on this team keeping others from reaching their potential. Keeping them around cuz they’re vets is bad management imo. Off topic. Lol. Cheers
