Since Zohorna hasn’t been called up, the 4th line for tomorrow could be Lewis-Dube-Ritchie

Sutter probably only gives Phillips & Zohorna 5 mins in which this lineup would be better for that scenario:

Huberdeau-Lindholm-Ruzicka
Dube-Kadri-Toffoli
Coleman-Backlund-Mangiapane
Lewis-Zohorna-Phillips OR for tomorrow night:
Ritchie-Lewis-Phillips

Zohorna probably travelled with the team, they just can't announce it until Rooney clears waivers.

Would think the 4th line is Zohorna-Lewis-Phillips tomorrow. At least I hope

I’m hoping for:

Ritchie/Lewis-Zohorna-Phillips

I guess Zahorna’s been Phillip’s Centre a majority of the time this season. I know Lewis is Better Defensively and kills penalties, but I like the Speed, Strength and Toughness Ritchie brings more and he’s playing fine defensively this season

The issue for Phillips will be that Sutter likely won't scratch Lucic and certainly not Lucic.

Yeah I’m super upset about that. Starting to really despise Sutter. His line choices absolutely suck imo. Other than any of Backlund’s lines, They’ve All Been Terrible 5on5

Would much rather have Ritchie in than Lucic right now. Complete disservice to Zohorna having Lucic in there, he won’t be able to keep up

It's feeling a bit like the late years of Sutter in his first tenure. At least he's not the GM this time...

Yeah Sutter’s too stubborn and stuck in his ways. Lucic & Lewis should not be in this game and the lines need to be scrambled again AFAIC

He's really loyal. Great attribute to have, less so when you're a head coach

Not to mention he doesn’t seem to realize it’s a younger and faster game. He refuses to give prospects a chance or reward them for their success in the minors. He’s not wrong about them not showing enough in Training Camp, but that was then and a handful of them have done a lot to deserve call ups since then

I don’t see why we need Lucic in there every night when we have Ritchie, who’s younger and much faster and is playing well this season

Dube-Zohorna-Phillips would have been okay too. Dube & Phillips are close friends and former teammates, so should have chemistry together already as well

Sutter puts way too much stock in training camp. Not saying it's meaningless, but there needs to be a look at the big picture. Camp is a small sample size.

Milano wasn't good enough in camp to make the team. Then he puts up 2pts in a Caps shutout win. Ruzicka wasn't either, according to the coach. He's been better than the 10.5m man Huberdeau.
