Something like this I could understand as Pittsburgh couldn't give two rocks about the future.

Absolutely not. I'd rather keep Kapanen. Anderson's contract, even with retention, stinks. He's incredibly inconsistent and gets injured A LOT.

Yeah, and? You want to pay someone $3M for the next four years because they hit real hard? Great asset management.

Personally, I think all teams should stay away from Anderson at any price.

1) He's constantly injured.
2) He's incredibly inconsistent in his production
3) He's a one-dimensional player. He seriously has no solid two-way game at all.

He's a super physical player. That's it. MAYBE you get one decent year of production out of him in the next four years that you're locked in to. I really want Kapanen gone, but honestly, I think there's more potential to squeeze useful hockey out of Kapanen than there is Anderson.

Said the guy who knocked Lehkonen saying he was a 4th liner at best
Your opinion is not good
Anderson hits and score goals
Only that is enough for GMs

Never said Lehkonen was a 4th liner at best. I consistently said he's a good third line winger. Get your facts straight.

And also, remembering back, if I made any 4th liner comments it's because he was playing the 4th line and people wanted multiple 1sts and prospects for him. I also said he's worth a 3rd and change, which is much closer to what MTL got than the huge packages of 1sts and prospects you geniuses were calling for.

There isn't a single player, prospect, or draft pick the Canadians have that is worth Crosby.
The habs probably couldn't even put a package together that would equal Crosby.

Suzuki at the vast age difference at this point is "worth " more than crosby

No thanks. I wouldn’t take on Anderson unless we are getting a 1st to take him on. He really doesn’t have any redeeming value. You can find guys that hit hard for a dime a dozen in free agency making league minimum.

Trollolol that’s hilarious. Suzuki couldn’t lace Crosby’s skates lol

Surely you are joking, right? This can't be a serious comment. Suzuki wouldn't be the top center on most teams in the NHL.
Even if you swapped them Suzuki would be on the second line behind Malkin

We got technically a 1st and a 2nd for Lehkonen
Your 3rd is not even in the ballpark

A 1st is a 1st. A prospect is a prospect. Stop being dense.

A RHD prospect with top 4 potentiel is worth more than a late 1st … especially Barron was drafted a year ago (when the trade was made). MTL got more for Lehkonen then they did for Chiarot & Toffoli

Barron is an OK prospect. Better than mid, but not a top prospect by any means. You got a PROSPECT. Not a virtual 1st round pick. But hey, you've been wrong in every convo we've had, so keep it up.

You're comparing two different players, in two completely different draft years because they were picked around the same spot? Wooof. You realllllly want to ruin any credibility you might have left?
