Severson >> Schenn
Sharangovich >>> Boeser
Stillman = Rathbone

How is that value remotely close to fair

The reason teams didn’t meet the Canucks demands is bc they knew what miller was. His underlying numbers for years showed this. Now it’s all coming out to light and they have 8 more years of jt

I think you're about one lottery pick short in value going to the Devils holy smokes that's bad.

Like Erkadurk mentioned, Schenn and Boeser are straight downgrades on Shango and Severson.
Also, the Devils have LHD prospects vying for a job in the NHL falling out of their ears, they'd just have to waive Rathbone by next season as there's no spot for him in that lineup!

You're right on the first two points, but Rathbone is a way better prospect than Stillman. Stillman is perhaps the biggest waste of a first round pick in Devils history.

Think Calgary would rather not have Pearson's 3.25 mil contract for 23-24 season.

I can't figure out the excess value for NJ in that trade.

Man, the Canucks were in such a good position for the future BEFORE they traded for Miller, let alone the additional misstep of re-signing him.

Neil Brady?
Corrente? Tedenby? Josefsson?
The whole Rocky for Rockies thing?

Okay I wasn't well versed in prospects older than ~10 years, but I'd confidently bet that Stillman is never an effective player at the NHL level.

Yeah, there aren’t different degrees of zero. It is absolute.

At least we didn’t sink the higher pick into him.

It's still a no for Bo for the Avs. Can't afford him.
