Nothing crazy. Lock up Cozens and sign some experience to help out the young players. If Anderson doesn't retire, sign him. If he does, you could go for someone like Ned. Trade for Murphy, yay or nay?

That’s an egregious overpay for Murphy. Not sure he’s worth more than Middlestadt on his own tbh. Murphy is an incredibly overvalued player.

I agree. Keep all of that stuff and just give Mayfield a contract .

I imagine the Sabres get outbid by a playoff team offering a late first. Rosen and a Sabres first is not happening. Mittelstadt and Bryson should certainly be on the table.

Mayfield will fall apart after this year imo. I’d go after Zub first and MAYBE Dumba or Severson if that fails.

Dahlin is a RD, 0% chance Buffalo adds Rosen to what is already there, Quinn - Cozens - Peterka is pretty established, Smith seems kinda useless to add

Holy overpay for Murphy
That’s one of the worst trade proposals I’ve ever seen on here-
and that’s saying something

Take out the 1st
Take out Rosen
And it’s still just a “maybe”
Although many fans (here) would definitely do Mittelstadt for Murphy, i don’t think it’s a sure thing our GM would

Murphy is severely overrated, and if Jokiharju finishes out the season meshing we’ll with Power, then we just wouldn’t have a need for Murphy
*our top pair is already set (for the most part) with Dahlin & Samuelsson paired up

@AntonTheHockeyGuy2000 Over all the line up and signings are not bad, certainly all are reasonable.
Probably will not give Girgensons 5 years or Okposo $2,000,000, but Cozens will get 8 years maybe at a bit more, but not much.
Dahlin plays on the left side maybe more than the right side.
Smith is probably not needed, a RHD is a must.

Keep all of the stuff and sign NIck Jenson or another UFA "Zub first and MAYBE Dumba or Severson."
Unlikely the Sabres will be moving a first or Rosen in the near future.
With prospects available to step in Mittelstadt and Olofsson would be their best trade chips.
If the Sabres could sign Johnson, Bryson would also be on the trade table. His play has regressed dramatically from last year.
IDK where Mittelstadt has been for over a month, but the last two games he played as well as could be expected.
Whatever Granato did to motivate him, package it and feed it to him before every game.

Because he's a good player and it's not expensive?

Are PK is horrible, he is a big part of that. It's nice all the puck pressure he does in the Ozone by he has hands of stone. I could see a year or 2 but the Sabres will have younger better players to take his spot. 4yrs seems like a lot. And Kyle who is a Warrior but has really regressed this year. I would do 1yr contracts just cause he's the Captain

I guess we simply disagree on his value. Oh well.
