JT wouldn't have got as much if anyone knew the Pandemic was coming but he's still very much a top centre. If he was 28 and FA he'd get 10 million. His deal isn't bad.

You have no idea about Gibson or the ducks if you believe that.

Maybe im misunderstanding the point of this?
Skinner is currently over a PPG player, and had a career high in points last year, which will more than likely be broken this season. I think its time to drop the "Skinner has a bad contract" As I said 3 years ago, when the coach had him on the 4th line, his 2 bad years are a result of Krueger.

He's 22, he's going to be just fine. The only thing that has dipped is is offensive numbers and I am fully confident in the next 1-2 years they'll go back up. He's been fighting injuries the past 2 seasons as well

With Carlo, I don't watch too many Bruins games, but when I do he is good. 4.1 for a 2nd pair defensive RHD is not bad at all.

Im not dying on any hill lol. Hes played on a doormat team for the last 5 years. He has faced the most shots against of any goalie this season. He's perennially in the top 5/10 for shots faced. He is the reason the ducks havent finished in the bottom 3 teams the last 5 seasons. He's a top 5 goaltender on a good team. I dont understand how people dont take that into account. He is the reason that Anaheim stays in tons of games that they have no business being in.

So why are Connor Hellebuyck, Igor Shesterkin, Karel Vejmelka, and Logan Thompson all doing fine then, Carter Hart even. Since 2019-2020 (regular season) Hellebuyck and Vasilevsky are 1 and 2 in shots against, Gibson is 3rd, Vasilevsky has 2 cups and a single season wins record in this time period

? wtf you mean lol. look at the teams that are playing in front of them this year and the last few years. Hellebuyck, Shesterkin, Thompson, Vasilevskey. Vejmelka and Hart are anomalies. Hart is playing under Tortorella this year thats the only reason his SP is as high as it is this year. Is Hart having a hell of a year? yes. But the flyers are dog**** especially defensively, if it werent for Dictator Torts, theyd be much worse this year. Vejmelka finished with pretty bad stats last year on a team that was horrid. He did play great at various points, but the team just wasn't good enough for his stats to reflect a "good" goaltender. This year the yotes have done enough defensively so far to allow him to play as well as he has. But that type of formula isnt sustainable and success cant continue in that environment. Point in case, look at Gibson. If you are strictly looking at numbers then its a lost cause because anyone who has eyes can see that Gibson is a top 15 tender when he's bad and a top 5 goaltender when hes on his game.

Is JT worth 11M? Probably not. But among the best in the faceoff dot, consistently hovers near a point a game (in spite of recovering from that gruesome MTL series injury mind you), looks like he's got an extra step this year. Worth around 9M if he went UFA today, which is not close to overpaid enough to crack a list of this nature.

Tavares like some players on this list are excellent players but paid elite money

I'd offer him a 9x4 if he were a FA this year

18% difference and 2M is the difference between having an extra quality player and not

You said those teams are bad which leads to more shots against, but the 2 people that have faced more shots over the period of his decline have thrived. They're still seeing shots against, whether the team in front of them are back to back Stanley cup champs, or the Ducks. 2 of the 3 goalies are still making saves and still winning games. Hell, Winnipeg isn't even that good, Hellebuyck is actually boosting them unlike Gibson.

Now that is a bad deal. He's 32, if he was FA right now, 9 million is a big ask. I am sure Montreal or someone else desperate for a #1 centre wanted him then maybe. But if he was 27 and FA? He would undoubtedly still get 10+ million on the open market. V

I would sign the skinner we have got the last 2 year with Thompson to a 9mx5 contract no questions asked. Him and thompson have been absolutely crazy good together this year. His projected number below are a combination of this year with the last 3.

Farabee has a great contract. He was ranked at having an A level contract at the beginning of the season. His offensive stats fell off due to injury and missing training camp. You just dont know what youre talking about.

Also not putting kevin hayes at #1 worst contract is wild
