Interesting. I don't think Nashville wants to trade Johansen though.

I think that it would be more fair if it was Johansen and a pick for Miller

I like this idea. Boeser could bring some life to a dormant offense, but I’d want one more asset coming in from Vancouver (a mid round pick maybe)

It’s a lateral move cap-wise. Doesn’t accomplish the goal, but doesn’t add cap

Whether Bo stays around or not, this would be a positive add for the team IMO. It gives flexibility to center a top 9 more effectively than Dries and Studs. Also right hand center or play up and run heavy minutes for top 6.

Predators are getting the guy who is 5 years younger. That's a good start to a re-tool. If Boeser starts producing well after a change of scenery you could trade him in the future for big assests. You can't say the same thing about Johansen, nobody is willing to give up big assest for him.

We don't need an injury prone 25 year old who *may* score 20 goals in our top 6. We need to be selling to acquire picks for this stacked draft class.

We can keep ryjo and sell assets around us that are easier to move.

Jeannot could move for a first and MAYBE a decent prospect.
Fabbro could move for a first
Nino could get us a 2nd
There definitely would be teams interested in Ekholm, could grab us a 2nd or a late 1st.
And if it really came down to it, we could definitely get a decent package for Granny

Many ways to go about this, acquiring boeser isn't really what the team needs.

So far the amount of players that fans think they'll get a 1st for:

Gavrikov, Horvat, Chychrun, Orlov, Kane, Dumba, O'Reilly, Mohanan, Bertuzzi, Meier...etc.

How many 1sts gets traded every deadline? Those players you mentioned are definitely not getting 1sts lol
