Don't know why folks hate the Leafs so much. Trading two regulars for one, the leading scorer in the OHL and two firsts... No team wold offer half of that for a ROR.

Pens decline. Kappy is having a better season than Saad with a shorter and cheaper contract. Why should the pens be the ones adding the pick?

This has a couple very unrealistic asks that the other team will not accept, and yet I still wouldn't want any of this for the Blues.

This type of deal would maybe go through if the Leafs weren't adding so much, ROR was a few years younger, an extension was in place, and this puts them within reach of the cup. Seeing as none of these are true this is a lopsided trade

Kerfoot & Engvall aren't cap issues. They're UFAs. There is nothing concerning about remaining $ owed.
