Sens should try to get Fabbro.

We're only 7 points out of a wildcard spot and we're on a 3 game winning streak, despite injuries to key players.

If the winning streak drags on, we start leapfrogging teams.

It's not that farfetched.

I can understand but they are without without their 2 best centers and 2 best RHD (JBD was establishing himself nicely before his injury)

They also had to fight through being coached by a coaching staff that is not very good at instilling defensive systems

If they can get a bit more healthy and stop suffering injuries to key players, it wouldn't be surprising to see them finish hot

I don't know if it will be enough to make the playoffs because the Atlantic is by far the best division in the NHL, but I don't think that all the teams you're talking about are better (all the teams ahead at the moment if I am correct?)

Right now, Fabbro is our 3rd D man and is looking great. If you trade for him right now you’re buying high and at this level Fabbro could easily return that

ok but he's 6th in TOI/GP, EV TOI/GP, even SH TOI/GP and PP TOI/GP

Gross has only played 8 games too

Has Fabbro been scratched? He missed 1 game

All I know is Fabbro was down vs last year and was played less as a result but only seen him twice this season, maybe he has been playing better recently

But I fail to see why he would be much more valuable than Erik Brannstrom who is younger and has great advanced stats this season. You know how highly touted he was not even 2 years ago

For example, he has the 14th best xGF% among the 199 D-men who played at least 200 mins at ES. Fabbro is 115th. Fabbro only plays 1 more ES per game on average
