Foegele is hot trash, Yzerman isn't retaining 50% on Bertuzzi for Foegele and a late 1st round pick. For that garbage we just keep him and resign him. With his injury history he won't have much value or he shouldn't cost that much to resign.

Yeah, with Bertuzzi’s injury history, I don’t know if there is going to be much of a better offer tbh

I don’t see Detroit re-signing him, they have so many wingers, and Bertuzzi has injury issues. It’s better to get something for him than nothing, and I don’t see many teams wanting to give up too much with his injury history

Bertuzzi won't get much, Probably 3-4 years @ $5,500,000 to $6,000,000 per rather from Detroit or on the open market.

I'd only consider it, if Edmonton's 1st is closer to 17th overall than 20th overall and higher.

Comtois doesn't need a change of scenery -- he needs an injury-free season.

Comtois is not a reclamation project like Puljujarvi is, and the Ducks need at LW is greater than our right, and the rumors that he needs a fresh start are overblown. Ducks decline.

Bertuzzi has had two fluke injuries this year, getting hit in the same hand with pucks. Last year he played almost he whole season. Without any injuries and the main injury he had 3 years ago, his back, is not why he is injured this year, but his broken hand twice. So saying he has a injury history, if you talked about his back, ok I understand, but it is he has been hit in the same hand twice this year.

Comtois needs to be used properly not a change of scenery

Comtois for Puljujarvi does not make sense for the Ducks

I could potentially see those two plying on McTavish’s wing for the rest of the year if we do trade for Puljujarvi

Detroit will get a better offer I wouldn't even trade Zadina for Foegele or Puljujärvi and Zadina is a bust. Do you think Anaheim trades Comtois for Puljujärvi?

If Bertuzzi comes back and starts putting up at least .6 ppg and doing the off the puck stuff he is elite at, this is an underpay. If he does come back and be close to his normal self, there needs to be more on the table, like a second 1st if the Oilers make it to the Conference finals, plus a high end prospect.

I don't know about that. There has been many reports saying that teams are not willing to trade 1sts this year. And why would they when there are better players available? And also healthier. It would be nice if Yzerman could trade Bertuzzi soon because Edmonton is not a guaranteed playoff team. Imagine getting a lottery pick for Bertuzzi grin

I would not trade Zadina for a Foegele either, but Zadina for Puljujärvis RFA rights next summer? Wings need more size and righties. Puljujärvi also plays good defensively and is a good locker room guy. Sounds like a Yzerman type of guy.

I could see Comtois for Puljujärvi happening.
