He's not what we need. The team is a defence first team now and Duclair is not that at all.

Well I think they really will have only one spot to address which is Top 6 LW. He has scored 30 goals before and is signed for another year at $3M which doesn't brake the bank. Florida has to move him b/c of their Cap situation. Tavares and Marner are both sound defensive forwards so I think it is a good fit especially with that line. Who else would you think would be a good option. The only other guys I could potentially see are Frank Vatrano in Anaheim and Conner Sheary out of Washington.

I want ROR, he's what the team needs. When we need a goal he can move into the top 6 and the rest of the time anchor one of our two shutdown lines. On the road he'll get favorable easier matchups and would provide depth offence and when at home he'll matchup against the other teams best as will Kampf. It's perfect.

I think he will cost a lot especially since you would have to give up at least a 1st Rd pick plus and also get salary retention. He would improve the C depth and Penalty kill roll but has lost a step. Also, doubt you would be able to resign him next year so likely just a rental.

Yeah he's a rental and that's ideal. You need to keep the cap flexible to fit Matthews and Nylander.
