fair price or not I don't think Laughton's 3M is a worthy use of cap for us in the long run

Gauthier will likely be up next season. Also, if Bedard does go to Philly, you need to go out and get an elite winger for him. Like go get Pastrnak and put him on the right side between Bedard and Farabee. Not Atkinson and Konecny where after one injury, he is stuck with Owen Tippett

Interesting idea, though I do doubt that Pastrnak leaves Boston, much less for Philly. Gauthier probably gets signed, and fights for that 3LW spot with Foerster, could go either way I suppose. Maybe we sign a smaller guy like Domi or Tatar.

Honestly, Konecny is the one he should be playing with 100%, not Farabee. TK is the better player right now, period. Do agree they'd need to add a better winger to play on that line though.

I've long thought a Bertuzzi-Bedard-Konecny line could be interesting

Yeah, lines definitely subject to change as a season goes on.
