A 1st what? 1st choice of toy during playtime? Because schenn isn't getting anyone a 1st round pick

I'd jump on that for Foote which means Vancouver shouldn't do it.
No way Schenn brings a 1

If you flip Schenn and Kuzmenko’s destinations it’s more realistic

TB shouldn't do it then. As I said before I wouldn't do the TB one if I were Vancouver probably add a 3 going to Vancouver

Canucks shouldn’t trade Kuzmenko unless a 1st round pick minimum is the return. Even then I’d rather sign him as he’s played very well on a line with Pettersson and Mikheyev

Fair enough. You all do however need RD more than wingers. Which is a more expensive position.

Luke Schenn isn't returning no 1st round pick, You'd be lucky to get a 3rd rounder for him.

Other way around. Schenn for Foote, Kuzmenko for the first.

Maybe try and sign Kuzmenko in the summer after trading him.. Tampa isn’t able to resign him

True he'd be a pure rental unless he likes Stanley Cup victories so much he signs real cheap.

I don't know if this is the feeling around the league, but personally I'd want more than 30 games (with 23.2% shooting!) of this production before I commit to giving a 1st round to what's basically a rookie rental. We have no idea if he can keep this pace up when he's not playing next to Elias Pettersson, we have no idea how he will be in the playoffs, Just a ton of unknowns that could have a chance to depress his market.

Personally I don’t think Schenn is getting a 1st. With that said, there have been a few insiders on Vancouver radio who have said they wouldn’t be shocked if the return was a late 1st. One of the insiders was Jeff Marek who does a podcast with Friedman so I’m sure he is well informed.

That is a totally fair point, his lack of track record makes his value hard to determine. But with his contract and current production (which is being boosted by playing with Pettersson) the Canucks could easily ask for a 1st+

Personally I don’t think he’s traded though
