It may sound ridiculous, but Seth Jones cost a high-end prospect and 2 1sts, Lindholm was a 1st and 2 2nds. Neither of them is as good nor as cheap as Chychrun.

I don't see Armstrong coming down from his asking price. From EDM I would see the ask being a 1st, Holloway, and Savoie to start then a 3rd round sweetener to take salary back.

Arizona won't retain salary, the contract is good enough as is. Edmonton also wouldn't trade Holloway in a package for him

I didn't say AZ would retain salary. I said that you'd have to send salary back to AZ to make deal work. Also the ask would be for Holloway. if that's a no then put together an equivalent package like Savoie and 2 1sts and then Barrie plus a 2nd or 3rd for "future considerations."
