I would prefer Lyubushkin to Bryson in the lineup.

Think olofsson and a 2nd could get a better 3c, but pretty good

MTL wouldn’t want Olofsson anyway
Maybe Mittelstadt instead and send Olofsson for JP

Canucks pass. At the least, someone will offer a comparable package with the higher pick being in 2023.

What's in it for Edmonton? Think they are better off just letting Jesse play out the year and leave him unqualified.

Fresh mindset. Both players could probably use it. More so Jesse who literally says he doesnt think he belongs in the NHL

Fair. A team will get desperate and over pay

or schenn. between injuries jokiharju and power played awfully well together. i like giving power a guy who can skate with him and atleast has some offensive skills to play off of.

I don't understand why you'd do the habs trade but the habs don't need a winger and they're looking to get futures for him not a roster player (winger)

Yes to the Canucks trade, Schenn would be a sick add. I'm not sure Monahan is the best 3C option for us. I'd prefer a more defensive center like an Eller or Bonino or something if we go out and acquire a centerman. I'm also not sure how Monahan would cost a player on pace for 30 goals and a 2nd? Montreal wouldn't want Olofsson, they have plenty of wingers. As poor as Mitts has been, he is still better than JP so no thanks

JP gets a bad rep, understandably, but hes not a player to give up on. Look at Valeri Nichushkin in Dallas, vs what happened to him when he got to edmenton. At his current value maybe not Mitts then, but hes 100% a player I see having a large turn around with a fresh start

Valeri knows how to use his size and strength, JP does not. Will that change? Maybe, but Id rather let Edmonton find that out.

He didnt know in Dallas. Hes a player you take a chance on. To a lesser extent, sabres fans HATED jost signing, so far so good tho

Tyson Jost hasn't signed anything. We claimed him off waivers. That was 100% free. There is no risk besides the Pegula's spending their money. To go out and trade for JP wouldn't be wise. I did not hate claiming Jost, despite the fact that the man bullied my friend in junior high. I can see what he brings to the table and I was on board with it.
