Levi isn't for sale. You could throw something crazy on the table like your unprotected 23 first if you want a discussion. If you want a buffalo goalie prospect, I'd suggest portillo, he should be much cheaper.

Is Luukkonen available then?

I mean for 6,0 foot goalkeeper who hasn’t played a game in the nhl, it’s okay. The base case scenario is a first round prospect like Mailloux and a second round pick.

My guess is eventually. Have to assume this is Andersons last rodeo, which leaves comrie and UPL with hopefully Levi going forward. Portillo probably walks, leinonen is raw and you know goalie prospects are voodoo. Too many ifs right now- if Levi is a stud and comrie is a solid backup, sure. That's why I suggested buying low on portillo- could probably sign him for free in August, or trade a mid/late pick to try to get him signed before then.

Not ones rewriting the NCAA record books. No one is touching that trash Mailloux btw. I know you aren't saying him in particular, but not a chance. Tuch doesn't have that value, like at all either. If he wasn't from Buffalo, wouldn't even be a consideration for a 4th

The worst thing anybody seems to be able to say about the kid is that he's only 6 feet tall. I don't think he's available for anything reasonable

Not that it would happen, but Barron would have to be included.

I’m not saying he’s bad because of that! I like him a lot, but it is a risk. I wouldn’t talk about him if he wasn’t a player that I liked!

I appreciate the effort, you're searching for a goalie for the division rival Habs, but he's clearly the best college goalie prospect and probably the best NA goalie prospect and everyone knows it. With how difficult finding a good goalie is and how inconsistent goaltending is, there is less than 1% chance the Sabres trade him in the next 3-5 years. Just no reason to do it whatsoever, so making up a price isn't even worth it. The Sabres are also searching for a long term goalie, they have Luukkonen and I think the hope is one of them becomes the long term solution.
