I think Bunting should get similar to Trevor Moore Contract I have him anywhere between 5 years x 4.25-4.75m a year.

I really hope they bring Kampf back also. 4-5 years 3.25m a year.

I assume Timmins gets closer to what he is making now. I don't see him getting more than Sandin and Lily.

I agree with that Holmberg contract and that Samsonov contract 100%

looks good. If they keep the core forwards they can stay competitive for a while. If they get past the first round this year and Matthews is re signed I think Dubas might stay around a lot longer.

David Kampf is the leafs top center on the PK and d-zone faceoffs. Holmberg and Jarkrok are a huge down grade from him. Drop Anderson to marlies, sign Kampf to 4years x 3.25 million. Holmberg 4th line center, Jarnkrok 3rd line RW. imo

You know what you don’t hear around here any more? Leafs fans complaining about Nylander. Interesting…

Spot on. What is with the 23 man roster? No need to sign Lewis, Anderson moves to scratch and Kral or Hallowell start with Marlies. Plenty of space for Kampf who is a keeper.

I can see ya bringing back Kampf. We can do if I don’t sign Lewis we should be good.

Bunting is a guy I can personally see taking a disco punt to retire a leaf. The Leafs will probably front load his contract so his latter years are minimal salary so it give them to option to buy out the contract.

With Timmins I did a higher number just so we can gauge the cap remaining. It’s more about gauging cap we have to work. The one thing I will say his contract will be 2yrs at most so he will remain an RFA and we can retain his rights. At least I’d aim for that as GM.

Dubas is staying around for at least another 3 years imo. They didn’t offer him a contract extension as yet because they know the PR hit it would take. It’s a huge mistake and will set back the organization years if they fire/let him walk. That’s my opinion.

He’s been the best Leaf GM in a while. Doesn’t make a move just to make a move. By now Lou, Burke, Nonis would’ve traded Nylander, Liljegren, and Sandin for the ideal “playoff” players.

I don’t think Leaf fans complained about trading Nylander since the 2019 season. To be fair at that time we had virtually no prospects as Mark Hunter didn’t really do well drafting. Set us back years in doing so.

Funny enough the canes wouldn’t have had Aho if Dubas was running the draft.

New around here? Leafs fans have been trading Nylander up until a few weeks ago.

Dubas clearly knows what he’s looking at, good drafting talent. Crazy 31 other GMs passed on Aho in the first, including the Canes.
