Sens should acquire a RHD, not another left handed dman.

Should exercise all options. Graves has played both sides. Him or Jensen would be better than Dumba or Severson

No reason to trade Brannstrom to bring in a bottom pair LHD. Brannstrom has been excellent in that spot all season, hasn't been given nearly enough credit for being a great defensive Dman this season.

Maybe Scott Mayfield on the same contract you just gave Graves?

I agree with your Pinto contract. I think Branstrom deserves a little less.

I would also go closer to 8-8.25m x 8 for Debrincat.

Either way I really like to core pieces on this team.

They get one year older and if they can add some depth, they will be a good team. Their forward depth this year has been terrible. But it takes time to get high quality depth, like the high end teams do.

Honestly if Sogard pans out longterm and they get that RD they desperately need, they’ll be in great shape . Greig also coming in to shore the 3rd line . Right now , needs in order:

    Top 4 defensive RD
    Bottom 6F
    Longterm goaltending

I’d use Thomson + protected 1st and more pieces for a RD but you need one available

More than likely any 27 Y/O defenseman free agent is looking for their lockup contract, so assume they want 7 years.

Mayfield you might be able to get for 4-5 year term, but he is 2nd pairing material, and probably not too many seasons from regressing to 3rd.

I agree with this fully. Maybe Mayfield for the D piece. Maybe Samsonov as a goalie. (Capfriendly lists him as an RFA but I think he is UFA. Maybe 3 years x 4m?) And then upgrade the 4th line and depth.

The 4th line you listed here should be the 5th line at best. If they can get a few upgrades there, the team looks better and their depth looks better.

Depends. No one is giving guys like Graves , Mayfield , Gavrikov, etc who are all more 2nd pair guys. More like the Manson contract for all of them , even Dumba won’t get that much.

I could see Severson getting the most term out of all of them.

Guys like Sokolov, Crookshank are approaching nhl readiness. I like Kastelic as the 4C

Simek has had a good year but i think the Sens decline. And the sharks likely won't retain on what's already a good contract.

we have an overabundance of LD i think sharks would do this fro just the 4th to be fair.
be nicer if we only retained 25% though

DeBrincat and Pinto both get a bit more.

And I'd rather have Brannstrom instead of Simek.
