It wouldn't matter. Karlsson won't leave a rebuilding team for another rebuilding team. He likes SJ as does his family. It's unlikely he gets moved at all but if he is Grier will find him a team that is closer to competing or is contending. Karlsson is flat-out dominant this year, not even just the points, he's composed, playing with purpose and totally electric. The NHL hasn't seen a defenseman dominate this way since Bobby Orr. Karlsson is on pace for 100+ points and is showing no signs of slowing down.

In other words. You're way off.

Absolutely zip zero nada reason for Van to want EK. So doesn’t matter what is offered. SJ can find another team silly enough to offer as much or more.
