COL accepts, although Liam and Jean-Luc are pretty much the same player stylistically.

BOS declines, they are happy with holding onto Reilly for playoff depth.

I’d be happy with most of these. Only issue I have is Vlad - I feel we can get more than a 1st.

They're okay. That's what comes to mind about most of these. They're okay.

I don't like taking on that extra year of Reilly, though.

COL accepts, and given what guys like Chiarot fetched last year I would assume Gavrikov would fetch more.

Meh, one year at 3m for a vet D isn’t too bad considering cap shouldn’t be an issue for CBJ

At 3m to bury him in the AHL? You sure? That freed money could be a top 9 forward at the TDL

There are cheaper options for NYR, based on that Drury declines.

Nyquist has 5 goals in 60 playoff games. That's not good depth scoring. He has no value to the Leafs.

He’s a genuine middle 6, 50pt guy. Could slot nice along the left side to bolster production in toronto. If dubas isn’t willing to pay big money (or dip into an already weak prospect pool) to get a big name player, Nyquist could fair to be a cheap rental.

TO Infact does not have a weak prospect pool. And they don't need bottom 6 help unless it's ROR or a true top 6 LW. Which Nyquist is not. Wrong team to target.

Well, between that and the fact that he's screwed over the organization before...

Only notable prospects being Knies and Niemela, and maybe you could throw Voit in there too. Besides that, nothing to write home about. I doubt dubas dips into that by TDL.

ROR will have a hefty price tag, and to acquire him and throw him in the bottom 6? Really?

If dubas dips into your prospect pool or moves the first (in a stacked draft class) for a top 6 LW, I’ll admit i’m wrong. Again, doubt that happens.

He has no contract beyond this season. If there is a season to make a big move it's this year. The Leafs are a top team and there are a lot of high end rentals available.

Well right now he's only accounting for $1.875 Mil against the cap since he's buried in the AHL. If there's anyone who will be moved to free up cap space for a deadline addition, it will be Smith.

What he meant by high price tag was it will cost Knies and possibly more to get ROR. He wasn’t referring to contract/salary/cap hit.

Doubtful, but it will cost Robertson for sure.

Foligno costed you a 1st and 3rd.. ROR is twice the player if not more. Might want to re-evaluate what 1C with cup pedigree and well rounded game will cost. If he and other rentals have gone down that much in value I will be very happy though! NYR gave a 1st and 2nd and Barron for Copp.. but I hope you’re right about the market dip

It's a different year and I am proposing, Robertson, A conditional 1st (whichever year St Louis wants in the next 2), a 3rd, likely Kerfoot as a way to balance cap who they can easily flip, and if it's necessary I would add another prospect to make it happen. That's a great deal of assets for a guy who has had a rough year.

That’s definitely a nice package if they like Robertson. While Jason is flying it’s been a rough ride for Nick. Not sure what all the analytics say about him, of how GMs would feel about the injuries and current/past play. But if the package is those 4 pieces then that’s not so bad. They might be offered a better centrepiece that could take it away. Quality vs Quantity type thing. But that package sounds decent for sure. Also you should note that salaries don’t need balancing. Leafs have tons of space
