Why trade Tippett for such a low return? He's been pretty good this year.

Imo his point total may be a bit inflated due to TOI and whatnot, plus he's not a great play driver. Obviously doesn't hurt to keep and I don't think he's bad, but I'd have Brink ahead of him and Atkinson may be impossible to trade.

Tbh. I lean towards them starting Brink in the AHL next year. Not because of his talent but moreso because of his injury and Young players never come up when we think the will.

Tho, I think Tippett could get at least a 2nd. I wasnt even the biggest fan of him before this year but he plays stronger and has been able to put points up. I wouldn't really say his numbers are inflated considering hes not getting extremely great quality/ Proven linemates.

With 10 goals Tippett probably isn't even bottom 6 on CGY. Someone said he's probably worth a 2nd and I think CGY would pay that. 1.5 for 2 years, worth it IMO.

Yeah honestly, your scenario is probably right with Brink starting in the AHL and coming up when an injury occurs later on. Maybe he's a TDL candidate if he and Brink are playing well enough.

Yeah, definitely should be a market for Tippett no matter what. Honestly, this team isn't too shabby if they solve that RD issue quick enough.
