With Meyer's QO that's an easy no for Winnipeg. 3 firsts plus for pretty much a rental is a beyond ridiculous ask.

That depend, if this come with a possible ability to negotiate already with Meier and obtain an extension before the trade could secure the deal.

That a think I would implement in the league when ur going for a trade for a player with only one year left u have a chance to be able to communicate with the agent and negotiate terms for possible extension.

The Jets just can't throw away good assets on rentals and its doubtful Meier would extend in snowy Winnipeg, with Meier's crazy qualifying offer I'm not sure he'd have a ton of trade value if the Jets tried to move him in the summer.

Really like Meier as a player but he's not a fit for the Jets.

Yup, I agree with @Missthewhalers, I like Meier but there's no chance he extends in Winnipeg at less than the $10 mil QO, so that just makes it a no go for the Jets.
