Ostapchuk is an intersting prospect. Upgrade the 4th rounder to a 3rd and I think the Jackets might consider this.

I like this fit. Sens will need to find a good value RHD to fit the salary while also keeping room for some depth pieces.

I'm not so sure. Mostly because of the position he plays.

Boqvist feels like another Brannstrom to me. Huge upside that has yet to transfer to his NHL game with regularity.
Boqvist also struggles to defend against bigger forwards... another Brannstrom comparison.
That said, Brannstrom would sign a 2 year deal for HALF of Boqvist's cap hit.
Boqvist has been a healthy scratch on a bottom dwelling team this season, seeing less ice time than Gudbranson, and his injuries continue to pile up.
While I think JBD is a better solution for what Ottawa needs next year I'd be willing to take a look at Boqvist too. Just not for Ostapchuk.
He's just 19 y/o and will be a middle six Swiss Army knife for Ottawa. Love his game!
It'd have to be a lesser prospect (Crookshank, Reinhardt or MAYBE Sokolov) and Ottawa can add a 5th OR 6th to the 4th you've already included.

Yeah I think some people are unaware of how anally stubborn Sens can be with some of their prospects

Pinto, Greig, Batherson, Formenton, Sanderson, Stutzle, Formenton, none of these guys were ever available. I have feeling Ostapchuk might already be joining this list.

They'd have to be extremely high on Boqvist to trade Ostapchuk for him.
