No way the blues are giving up a potential top 10 pick plus 2/3 recent first round picks who have been playing well. So you essentially want 3 first round picks for Horvat and that's not happening

Blues aren't mortgaging their future like that.

No reason for Blues to do that. They’re not in a position to acquire Horvat, would make no sense

The blues would sooner resign ROR than do that. It makes no sense and the value is way off.

I don't think the blues will be targeting Horvat if they are selling off ROR and Tarasenko. IF Horvat makes it to F/A they might look at him but they aren't trading assets for him. They aren't in a playoff position to be doing that

It just doesn't make any sense. Horvat is going to be a ufa, so the only reason the deal gets done is if they sign him. To do that they avoid competing against a free agency offers and they can offer him an extra year. But that would mean the blues are giving up really strong assets to sign a guy until he's 35 who puts up maybe 40 points on average. It makes no sense. If they wanted another center (which they have an abundance of) why wouldn't they just grab him free agency, resign ROR, grab someone else in free agency, or let someone else who is already in the organization take that role. It would be like Toronto trading Mathews for McDavid, it just doesn't make any sense
