The Toews deal isn’t terrible but I wonder about targeting Garland or Hoglander first as they have term. I would target a RD from LA if giving up Heinola. They are flush with them and they need LD

Overpays by the Jets on both. Toews isn't needed at all and neither is Schenn. Especially at that price.

I think the Heinola for Schenn deal makes some sense but that essentially puts them in a place to choose between Rathbone and Heinola because of how long the OEL and Hughes deals are. Maybe it'd make more sense to trade Heinola for Sean Walker out of LA (either retaining some salary or adding to the deal).
