Buffalo's pipeline is filled with forwards. Don't see them moving a top 5 goalie prospect for that

It's a huge overpayment, Levi is great but montreal's pick is currently 7th OVA unless you think Levi will be the next HOF goalie then Buffalo obviously accepts this trade, they have several goalie prospects they can fill the hole left with and get a top 7 pick and a chance at Bedard/Fantilli! If Adam's passed that up he would be fired on the spot IMOas would Hughes for offing that.

Swapping the 7th pick for the 15th pick is pretty weak when you give up a top prospect in the hardest position to find.

Goalies are a dime a dozen, it is not the hardest position to fill top 4 RHD and top 6 C are the hardest positions to fill. Moving from 15th to 7th will cost more than even the best goalie prospect in the last 10 years, it cost Montreal Romanov + 4th to move into the 13th spot in a considerably weaker draft and Romanov was a proven 21 year old top 4 D man. It likely costs more than just Levi for move from 15th into the top 10 in this draft and especially without protection on the pick.

High end goalie prospects aren't a dime a dozen. Most organizations don't have one, which is why I assume this trade idea was proposed. And if it's such a great deal, and Adam's would be "fired" for not accepting, then wouldn't the MTL GM be fired for offering it?
