Dont think Columbus does that. Also, I'm pretty sure Horvat has priced himself out this season.

He and the FO/Coaching have some growing tension due to his inconsistent play.

If Rosy is moved, it would be to open up a roster spot for a younger guy, with the added benefit of cleared cap. I think CBJ pass on this.

Also, if the rumors are correct, Roslovic doesn't want to go back to Canada and I think Jarmo will certainly take that into consideration.

I strongly believe Roslovic would be more consistent with more consistency around him. I swear he's been moved around so much that he's played with every forward that's been through the lineup. If the Jackets would pick up some good defensively minded forwards to put alongside him and gave him the go ahead to do his thing, I think he would be more successful.

It's not an accident that the best he looked was with KJ on his wing but functioning effectively as the C of the line (just with Jack taking the faceoffs).

You’re not wrong. Lars learned a bad habit from Torts - the moment bad things happen, scramble the lines. It’s been so hard to develop consistency these past few years because of it.

That being said, even when Rosy has been given the primo assignments, he’s had a lot of trouble with consistency. Whether it’s JG, Laine, KJ, whoever, he has too many hot/cold stretches.

It’s just a tough situation. We know Rosy is frustrated and that Jarmo has gotten calls about him. When I look at where this team is and its timeframe, I’m just not sure it is worth keeping him around hoping either he finds a fit, or a new coach will fix things. Even on that note, I worry Lars will be back next year.
