Saw another users team with near identical proposal to this one. Anyways. Washington will be going all in as long as Ovi is chasing 894. From what I've been seeing Caps have some money coming off the books if Orlov walks as well as Hagelin. Eller and Brown potentially walking aswell. I'm not a fan of the Caps so this is just speculation. I could be 1000% wrong

Yeah Caps wouldn't do that. Provorov definitely isn't worth that anymore. I like him but he still hasn't taken that next step to be a true top pairing guy. You might get a 1st for him but that's it. But even then Caps don't do that. They can just re-sign Orlov who is better.

imo you could get more for Frost...he was a 1st round pick a few years back and he's still pretty young...he has also played pretty well all things considered on a bad flyers team...so you could probably get a 1st/2nd back with a B or A level prospect back aswell.

Seems like you've given up on Frost to get essentially no NHL return. Teams would rather spend 6.75m X 2 on a UFA, then give up a 1st and 2nd for Provo.

Frost doesnt bring anything to the leafs they dont already have.
He's not shown he can even be a regular 3rd liner yet.

Frost should net more in a trade. He's been playing first line for a while now and has started to play very well and get points. Currently is on a 4 game point streak. Not to mention he would have more assist but his teammate just can't finish his chances. (I would trade Tippett instead bc of so many wingers/ and Shooters coming up from minors)

Also think JVR should get a 2nd. He's killing it this year and has a lot of good Locker room qualities. A team with a strugling power play should definitely go after JVR.

I think that's too much for Provy unfortunately. He on a fair contract imo but not one any GM is gonna go out of their way and get. On top of that, he hasn't shown he can be a true #1 yet. I love Provy but I think his value is low.

I mean, sure the Leafs do that Frost trade. I don't think the Flyers have reason to though.

I think the caps would rather just give that money to Orlov in FA and keep the assets

You can definitely get more than just a 1st for a player like Provorov lol.
