Detroit has no use for any of those 4 players listed.

I think provided he's healthy bertuzzi could be a nice target, kubalik is off that hot streak hes not gonna have that kinda value.

Detroit passes, Pretty sure Yzerman will re-sign Maatta. And we're not trading Kubalik for a bunch of scraps either.

Come now it's not like Kubalik and Maatta have a ton of value but you should be downright embarrassed even adding Rydahl to any trade he's a 28yr old AHL player with no NHL experience and a UFA. With the way Maatta has been playing and the way Hronek is playing with him as his partner I wouldn't trade him straight up for Hájek. Henriksson has promise but Detroit has too many bottom 6 center projects all ready. I do like Jones but at 5'11" I can't see Yzerman trading for him.

I dont see Lafrenier, Kaako, or Chytil. Those are the only 3 players I would be interested in. Chytil makes the most sense but he is the best performer of the 3 right now.

You want two of our better plyers for a bunch of guys that can't make the roster. Add some better players and a 1 st for kuby.

Kuby not having value? He's at a 30 goal 65 pt + pace for 2.5 million/yr with another year on his contract and he's showing some playmaking skills. As long as he continues similarly he will be worth a 1st plus at the deadline. The way maatta is playing he will be worth a 2nd at the deadline easy. These are exactly the type of players contenders pay allot of assets for at the deadline. Detroit will most likely want to resign maatta but if yzerman does trade him it will be because he is getting a very good value.

I think your being a bit too literal considering that was just a set up for what I said next.

Maybe so but you could easily argue kubalik is one of our better scoring forwards, tied for first in goals and first in points ( for wingers ) and maatta is probably our 3rd best defender at this point. Setup or not, it's a valid distinction to make value wise.
